The Thorax and Abdomen

The following table has been prepared to assist you to take a complete set of radiographic views for each examination that you undertake.

The use of a high kVp radiographic technique is recommended when you radiograph the thorax of dogs and cats.

Appropriate exposure factors can be reliably reproduced when you have constructed an exposure chart that is optimised for the thorax.

Visit the Technique Chart Construction homepage that is linked to the Online-vets homepage. It will show you how to optimise your radiographic technique for thoracic radiography.
