WHAT WE DO

PRACTICE VISITS

We provide a clinic visit service within the Sydney Metropolitan area. On practice visits we are able to provide animal ultrasound services for your clients. This service is appreciated by many clients and patients that have travel limitations or when the patient is too sick to travel to a referral hospital.

TELERADIOLOGY SERVICES

We review digital images that are sent to us electronically in DICOM format. We have our own teleradiology server 'Online-VeTS', where we review digital images that are sent to us electronically via the means of the referring vet uploading and submitting images to our teleradiology server DVMInsight. Our radiologist downloads and interprets the images, providing a written report by email to the referring clinic.

This is extremely effective when wanting to send a case to us as soon as practical, in the preferred high-quality format of 'DICOM' images. Many of our clients enjoy the ease of the service and the availability of having cases interpreted out of normal office hours when deemed an urgent STAT case. Please contact us for further information regarding this fantastic service as so we can start the easy set-up process and have you sending us cases digitally in no time!

COSTS

For any procedure costs, please do not hesitate to contact our office in Sydney for further information.

IMAGE INTERPRETATION

We provide written evaluation reports on images taken via radiography, in a digital DICOM format (Not Jpeg, Bitmap or Tiff format), submitted through our Teleradiology Server Online VeTs. Our turn-around time for interpretation reports is generally within 24hours of the images being received. This time frame may vary slightly due to unforeseen circumstances (i.e.: technical interruptions) but we do our best to avoid any holdups.

WE NO LONGER ACCEPT ANY CASES FOR INTERPRETATION VIA EMAIL OR THROUGH THE POST.

PENNHIP® AND HIP & ELBOW SCREENING

We no longer provide hip and elbow interpretation service for the CHEDS scoring scheme, or any PennHIP® screening service.

You can find a list of local clinicians who will be able to by searching on https://dogsaustralia.org.au/members/health-wellbeing and www.pennhip.org.
